The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a non-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) dedicated to students enrolled in engineering and technology education programs. Colorado TSA (COTSA) is the state affiliate and serves more than 2,000 students annually through a variety of programs and services.
TSA’s mission is to inspire its student members to prepare for careers in a technology-driven economy and culture. TSA advisors promote technical literacy and leadership with their student membership and prepare chapter members to be successful inventors, designers, creative problem-solvers, and responsible citizens and leaders in a technological society.
TSA is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, state departments of education and local education agencies, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA), the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), Project Lead The Way (PLTW), Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP), the National Coordinating Council of Career and Technical Student Organizations (NCCCSTO) and the American Cancer Society (TSA’s national service project partner).
